Dynoflash street/tuned. I am going to try with higher octane fuel next time. Otherwise I may have to go with another route eg. reflash or Vishnu, appreciate advice.

Your shifting could be what's at fault. When I went to the track last year to test out the Redline tranny fluid, the best I could get was 13.4@104 mph. But I had to granny shift into 2nd because the car refused to go into 2nd at WOT or at 7000 rpms. My 60' times were in the 1.7xxx range, but my 1/8 mile time was EQUAL to when I ran the car stock (was running a Vishnu Stage I setup minus cam gears or boost controller) Stock, the car ran 14.1 @98 mph

The other possibility is that your car is one of the slower ones. Too bad you didn't get a baseline dyno or 1/4 mile time and trap.

Hopefully, it's just a bad tankful of gas or your shifting.

 

finally got here after my boy bicric09 did some trollin around on srtforums. now its time for me to give my two sense here for one reason only. he said he'll be runnin mid to low 12's with the same modds. sorry bro, dont think so.

sorry about ur luck though because i have a feeling i'll be experiencing the same depression when i get my stage 2 installed with my mods. we had a some go 12's with minor modds and mid 13's with mild modds. i dont get it but hope u figure out the problem, if there is any.

 

He never said mid to low 12s, he said 12s, and I have yet to see an SRT-4 crack lower than 13.6, and I've seen about 10 of them at the track so far. There is a problem, you should be faster with those mods, we need more info on your run to determine what happend. Also could be something with your car, should check for any problems or have it checked. Still I believe something is wrong, you should be faster with those mods.

 

do you have a boost gauge? are you sure you're holding 20psi untill redline?

 

i work with bigric09 everyday over here in afghanistan. i know what he said, like 3 times, and that was he will be running mid to low 12's with same modds. if u want to see a srt-4 run 11.7's i'll show u a link bro. evo's are fast, never said they werent, but to say his car is goin to run a mid 12? maybe. to say its goin to run low 12's? highly doubt it. with just these modds i highly doubt a low 12. sparco's evo runs like 11.7 and its got a ton of modds, internal and external engine modds. just stating facts from the what i've seen in the mag. i dont know a ton about TURBO cars but i know enough to realistically determine what it will run. this is the same guy who said our boy was goin to run 13's with nos and a vtec head in his crx, lol. the car ran slower with the vtec head, lol and he never used the nos and ran a 16 something. now i know for a fact a crx is not going to knock off 3 seconds with nos, lol.

 

Not sure about HIS car but MY car run 12.5 with less mods (mbc,s-afc,cone air fliter) @ fayettevile , But I would love to see 11.7 srt-4 vid// link .. thanks

 

I already know about that 11.7 SRT-4 the one that blew it's engine recently going down the track right? I never said that SRT-4s can't do really fast times, I just stated I have yet to witness this, and I really don't feel like getting in this argument again. Yes his car is very much capable of mid 12s with his mods, just stating facts from what I've seen in person. Believe me if you think that Sparco EVO is only capable of a 11.7 then think again, with a couple more runs and perhaps better conditions, that's easily a low 11 second car. Also as far as power modifications, I wouldn't call what Sparco had so much, I've seen Supra's with much more, not hit as fast of times.

 

ever think ALL WHEEL DRIVE has something to do with evo's running faster with less modds? lol supras are only rear wheel drive and have traction problems when u add hp. the evo is no doubt an awesome car, but my point is that with his modds i dont think he'll run a low 12. u never know, he just might prove me wrong and until then i'm stickin to my story. by the way, u must be talkin about another srt-4. the one im talkin about is owned by turbochargers.com and unless this was recently, it didnt blow up but it did lose to an 11 sec integra that ran a 11.4. our engines can handle up to 400hp until we have to start changing internals and up to 24psi, with proper modds that is. their car is around 378hp i believe. not bad for a neon, lol.

 

which one are u? red, white or black evo? i've seen u all out at the track. i had my car there when i was bone stock and ran a 14.0 with only 1k miles on it. never ran it with any modds yet. i'm sure i'll see u when i get back.
