I don't own an EVO and couldn't really dig deep into certain malfunctions on your car, but I do know that practice on your launches to get better 60FT times wouldn't hurt. Although 96MPH is pretty low even with a 14.3 second time, still this could also be due to your driving. Honestly you may just need more practice with the car, although I could be wrong.

Like you said, its your first time, from my first time to my yhird time I dropped .4 tenths off my time. The track temp and condition also plays a toll, and YOU play the biggest as YOU must learn your car. Good luck and have fun.

Actually the mph is about right for the 14.3. MPH wont get higher even with a better 60 ft, just the et will get lower. My best run on my Audi with the K03 was 14.29 at 97 mph making 250 hp 300 tq.

What are you doing now?

You need to launch while bouncing the rpms and drop the clutch on the upswing and at the rpms you want to leave at. You also want to bump the car into the stage lights so that your in a "shallow stage". This will give you more to start rolling before you trip the ET light to start your run.
