What a blast? I'm use to slipping and sliding in my fwd Honda's. Ran the EVO tonight on 17psi and ran 12.4@108. I've got the EMS and cams, but am in S. Florida where it was 81 degrees and 91% humidity tonight. So, I'm happy with the first runs. A little more boost and a clutch should make for some fun.

 

12.4 at 108 equals great driving. What was your 60ft 1.6.

 

Thanks The 60' was a 1.749 I was being easy on it all night w/ consistent 2.0 60's as I don't want to replace this clutch right away. But, decided in the heat of the moment on the last run against a worked 04 Cobra to step it up. It is so hard to behave.

 

Well not to entice you into telling a war story but did you at least hang with the Cobra? Yes or No!I know he trapped higher for sure.

 

I am pretty sure he beat him, not by much, but beat him. He said he ran 12.4 but was going easy on it. Cobras run 13.1, maybe 12.8.

 

OK, I can't lie. The Cobra put a hurtin on the EVO. I pulled him for the first 1/8 and then he went right on past. He went 11.6@122. It had a different Supercharger, exhaust, etc. I'll get him next time On a good note, it was my only loss all evening.

 

Yeah, them Cobras driven properly can put the smack down. FWIW for every Cobra or z06 that beats you there will be a couple that you can handle at the 1320. Win some and you lose some but when you win they feel worse and take serious verbal abuse from Dumbestic buddies because they got beat by what they percieve as Rice. Still good run.
