Well, dropping from a 9.7 to a 10.5 is going slow for their car. Like I said, I wish I was that slow. The post wasn't even remotely meant as a bash more as a question as to why they weren't running their best.

 

Yeah same result out here on the West Coast. You beat one and they say you must have more mods than me. Friend with Sti and turbo upgrade is still trying to shoot me down out here. When driving a gym acquantance 05 Sti i called him to give the owner info on mods and where to go in the area. When i got the phone back he said I should of just told him to go buy an Evo if he wants to go a lot faster. Man I wish I would of bought one.

 

NINELEGZ would be paul and his car is insane.

 

theyre full of exuses...road course, we will dominate them there too, we have a better handling car than they do, not to mention, better drivers..

 

Great turn-out today. I was so impressed with some of the EVOs on display. Most of the EVOs ran great times, low 12's... I was impressed. The EVO came in strong today! Props to the Subie guys too... great turn-out, met a lot of people, good fun, I had a great time!

Yeah, the Subarus got Owned. I'm a Subaru guy. I own 3 of them. Even had my Subaru shirt on at the event too support them. We got slaughtered though. Good showing guys, gals.

My name is 'Kevin Thomas' over there. I'm trying to sort some videos out the short time I was there (11:30p.m.-2p.m., had to go back to work). I'm going to put up two fast Mitsu runs that I recorded in that thread. Not that 12's aren't fast but these two runs were exceptional. I think someone mentioned who ran these runs earlier in this thread.

Paul (evolution/rc51) won Best appearing Evo.
Not sure if there was a separate award for best appearing WRX, but there were some nice ones.

Paul won the evo/wrx heads-up class.

Didn't get the name of the winner of evo/wrx bracket. Was from Ct.; drove a stock STi.
It was his first time racing, so to him for his efforts.
Some kid named Mike was runner-up.

Think Al took best engine bay. I think EVOMIZ should have entered his for that.
I have a pic of his engine and it is CLEAN.
I will try to post up the couple pics I have; need to go resize them first. Stay tuned.

 

Yeah i should have but i was having problems with my clutch (slipping) so i tried my luck at bracket racing.
car is making more power but running slower

Besides the competition, it was definitely a fun event.

 

Ask one of those guys who won clutches. I am sure they dont need it
