You guys are simply amazing, makes me proud to be the huge *** EVO fan that I am. I would love to see something like this take place on the West Coast, would love to see people like IE EVO and Smoggrunner lay the smack down on the STI/WRXs, maybe next year the event can be held half way, like in Arizona (just kiddin'). Great job you guys, Mitsubishi as a company should appreciate you guys a lot more, I bet you guys probably sold a hell of a lot of future EVOs for them.

it was a great event yesterday even though I did not race. I am sorry suburas got owned and if they cry thatour cars were more modded then Iguess they should have made the right desicion in the first place and buy an EVO. Also it was cool that the crowd was more into the EVOS than the STI?WRX IT WAS A GREAT FEELING!! RIP SUBARU that broke after your launch hehe

Can someone post their results with flashes, either TT flash, Dynoflash or Xflash..etc? I think that's what the majority of evo have and people are more curious about those results. The quickest and the fastest times are nice. But I'm more interested in the real world times with basic bolt ons and flashes.

My only mods are in my signature, everything else is stock. Also the best time i ran yesterday is there. This was on race gas at 26 falling to 22 psi. My base run with pump gas and 21 psi was a 12.95@105. So my Dynoflash custom tune pretty much did nothing over the mail in dynoflash, since the times were almost identical from the last time I raced. Last time I ran a 13.00@105 on the mail-in flash and pump gas. The mail in Dynoflash is def worth the money, its a very good product. As for the custom tune, well...... Overall I had a very good time. The car ran consistant for the most part, 12.6's on stock cams and IC I think were very good, esp spinning the tires on every damn launch.

E-town put on a good show Sat. I think there were twice as many Subys as Evos but we dominated. Our car ran ok but it wasn't what we were looking for. We loaded a new firmware into the AEM but the rev limiter was still set for 7500 so the first pass was a waste of time. The next run was 10.4 @ 137 but I was spinning all over the place (1.7 60') and the boost was falling off. Same problems on the next run and it looks like the turbo is a gonner. It's puking oil into both housings...oh well. It should be fixed by next weekend.

Suby guys are crying that there cars were stock. Shame on them why would you bring a knife to a gun fight. They are also crying that our Evo's could only go straight. Man those guys did not do their homework before they purchased their cars. I posted over there(nasioc) that they had an Sti with a green go 11.9 There was an evo with stock turbo go 11.9 go figure! 4g63= over a decade on this planet.

Man, some of the NASOIC guys over there are stupid. Alot of misinformation being thrown around about the overall design (aka repair work) of the evo. Gay. Last time i checked both cars were so close in performance and handling that in most cases its the driver and not that car's fault for losing. I know that on NASOIC they seem to be big on twisties. I met some dude at the starbucks the other night and he had a wrx that was somewhat worked (bigger turbo, intercooler, etc) and he was talking about paying upwards of 200+ for dyno time. I thought that was ridiculous. Anyhow, after asking what he put down i told him i have an evo and so does my friend. He just shunned my response. He was very set in his ways about the wrx/sti. He claimed, the evo would take the wrx in top but no low end. Well, ****, if you have a worked car vs stock, of course a wrx is going to take a evo. He also said, the wrx would take the evo in twisties. Again, what do you have done to your car and who are you driving against?

Anyhow, some NASIOC seem to be set in their ways, just like some ferrari losing to a 10 second civic.

drama.

It's cool, it's hard to admit defeat and most have, but still how to come up with some excuses to make you feel better about your purchase. EVO owners would do the same thing if the results were the other way around (which I highly doubt seeing that happend ever, the Subies may one day post better times, but they will never lay a smack down on the EVOs, the way the smack down was put on them yesterday). It's simple human nature, and to be expected, but be proud that you guys aren't the ones having to come up with exuses or reasonings to make yourselves feel better, that's all Subaru there

Take an EVO in the twisties, that's classic stupidity. Just because EVOs beat the crap out of the Subies in a straight line, that means that EVOs now can't handle anymore , dang I guess the Subies have to come up with something to make themselves feel better.

Turns? Do they mean race track? Why don't you ask them who's currently holding the record in Tsukuba race track in Japan for production car? The fastest car to date are two EVO8s, HKS EVO did 54sec and the SUN cyber evo did 55sec.... I think the fastest sti did 57 or 58... All done by professional drivers.
