65 on the autos, eh? You may actually have slightly faster 0-60 times than the 5 spds. Our shift point from 2nd to third is at 59mph. Go figgur. Longer gears ain't so bad, eh?

nah. It shifts 100 rpm right before redline so the comp wont let us blow it up. Maybe even have a rev limiter?

Mine switches at 6000-6500 rpms every time I've done 65 in second switched into third and hit 80 before punching it to OD might not be the best thing to do my tranny but I enjoy it. Only once or twice a week unless I'm racing.

Of course you do. Way to many kids would be out and about and thinking the powerband stretches further than the max 5500 RPM when it doesn't and BOOM. They float a valve at like 6500 or something.

check your owners manual. (there's tons of good info in there!)
it has maximum possible driving speeds for each gear (manual and automatic). it also has recommended octane, oil viscosity, maintenance schedule, bulb sizes....how to change bulbs....wow all that in one little book?! who would have thought you could just look in there and not post 10 different times "what size bulbs are the turn signals?"

and 0-60 time don't mean squat. it's all about the time to distance
