Who uses what for driving shoes? Whether it be for SCCA, Track days, or just some twisties. I wear converse old school low tops, i like em, good feel and pretty comfy as long as your not on your feet too long. kinda odd ? just curious though.

 

i usually just wear the forces or airmax.... best feel would be my goodyears tho

 

Puma, the unofficial Evo driving shoe



They are not real driving shoes, but when you have 4E monkey feet like me you need something to squeeze your feet so you only push one pedal at a time

Not super comfortable just walking around though, and not fire resistant so gonna have to ditch them when I get my comp license

 

Got a steal of a deal on some Piloti's. I use them for karting too.

 

Pilotis, Pumas, Oasics or Sparcos are all good shoes. For street I use Pilotis or Oasics while at the track I use a set of Sparco Super Speedways.

 

i drive in a pair of Circas. haha, i was lookin for driving shoes but they're too expensive for me

 

lol i use the puma speedcats too.... great sneakers really give you are better feel for the pedals..

 

i switched from puma to alpinestar

 

If you track enough, it is worth the couple hundred it will probably cost for real shoes. If not, then the pumas or similar should be fine

If you get real driving shoes, just remember they are designed for driving, not walking. If you walk around in them too much, they will fall apart

Really? Hadn't heard that, but, Puma did sponsor an EVO at one point. I built an RC Car that won a National Concourse competition based on that Puma EVO.





And, ironically, a very similar scheme to my current rally car livery.

and an old set of AlpineStars for, well, the Oakleys are so good I don't wear the A*s anymore lol.
