ok here is wat i would do in that situation. i would launch with ebrake and 2step rev first to about 8k or 8.5k depending on ur valvetrain since first is so damn short 2nd gear shift about 7k 3rd 6.7k 4th ride it out till the end of the 1/4 and i garuntee a fast run.

Do you think your going to stretch out 4th gear or shift in to 5th? With that much power you might have to shift in to 5th... you think?

for a standard evo I would advise to shift around 5500rpm, this is also the advise they give to the drivers in the PWRC.

Lots of controversy on this thread... holy ****... I have no clue what is acctualy right for the fastest time but I run 1st-7800 2nd-7800 3rd-7600 4th-Ride it out to 8k.
