I would love to put mine in gear with e brake, because I'm on a hill but can't cause I have a turbo timer! Has anyone tried putting in gear with a turbo timer? does it stall.. By the way I know this question isn't for this section & might be somewhere else.. How many seconds or minutes should I set my turbo timer?

I mean I don't even know where to start... lol
When you pushed a car so hard you need to cool the turbo , and you have to use a turbo timer because you are standing still, what will happen the rest of the car? Example with a brakes?
If you cool the brakes down, prevent warping or welding etc, then why you need the turbo timer?

When you talk to someone and a turbo timer is a subject, its a great sign to know, if you talk with a person long enough, you might even will see a blue neon popping up under the car as soon as the night rolls in.

Why park in neutral EXCEPT for having a turbo timer? Parking brakes are useless most of the time. I would never trust a cable-operated drum brake to hold my car in place for anything, anywhere.

I have always parked in gear with the e-brake. No real reasoning, just been doing it for 20+ years. Why stop now?

Plus, I had a Saab, and you can't remove the key unless it is in reverse. Fun stuff.

always in gear with the ebrake. I have heard/seen so many horror stories of people just using the ebrake and it failing or not being pulled all the way then the car rolling into stuff and causing thousands in damages.

EXACTLY! That's why I'm so curious why so many people are openly for keeping the car in neutral. I also kinda thing turbo timers are a bit outdated. Nobody is drinf an old Mirage or Colt anymore, are they?
