I see that there are still two spots open. Is the list updated? I'm having my 264's installed next Monday so I should be able to come up. Have you figured anything out for Sat. night? If we are gonna do anyhting that night I'll probably get a hotel and go home on Sunday.

I'm guessing my car will be fine to drive with the cams in it and not being tuned?

It will be fine to drive with the cams - provided that you drive easy and stay out of the boost.

I am not sure on the plans for Saturday yet - maybe IF Fireball is comming with a few guys we can organize a meet at the Hooters. It looks like things are starting to fill up so I may have not much time for socialization on this trip with only two spots left open

If you want one of the spots please pay pal over a deposit and let me know which spot you want and also PM me a list of your mods so I can look it over also - thanks

Thumbs up

Hi Al,

Did you figure out where the tuning will be held at? I remembered someone mentioning their friends shop but that was not official. Please let us know.

Thanks .

i was with my buddy tonight and he said no problem at his shop. it easy to get to plus it is all set up to hang out at. he has a tv so we can watch dvd's, neogeo, and he also has one of the nicest k20 civics in chicago. we can also fire up his bbq. call me Al at 847-561-5399. only thing is that it is my one year anniversary so i can't hang out all day. my wife would be pretty pissed. it's kinda of a dilemma for me hang out with a bunch of evo guys or have a romantic night with my wife. also that sunday we are having dent busters come out for a "ding party". a group rate to get any minor dent or ding fixed. if anybody is interested give me a call. thanks.

Al,

Any spot left. Current etup is Br S4 with 272/272 cams. Not sure how long it'll take but I like to retune for a recirculating BOV (1g). I currently have the turbo xs rfl and the car pulls hard but I don't like the drivability. I like to tune for 93 and 100 octane along with the idle. I tested the car with the 1g bov and I notice a big change in top end power compare to using the turbo rfl bov. If we can get the 1g to run like the turbo rfl on WOT that would be awesome.

Let me know if you want the 1g bov on the car before the tune or the turbo rfl. It's easy to change so if you want to see the performance difference just let me know.

Looks like we have one spot left on Saturday -11:00 am.m to 1:00 p.m. if you want it send over a deposit of $100 to paypal@dynoflash.com

Just run the 1 g bov - the TXs is not good

Also run 1/4 tank of gas or slightly less and then bring 5 gallons 100 with you for the dual stage tune

when you say 1g bov, are you talking about off a first gen DSM? Are the stock bov's prone to leaks?

Yes first gen is a great BOV as is the new MR unit

The stock ones do leak on some of the stronger cars

I'll take it. One problem is that the fund on my paypal account is low and I'm currently transferring money there so I won't be able to send you the money until end of this week or early next week.

I'm going to store the car for the winter but would like to feel the improvment with race gas first

A few points for those getting tuned

1 - Please make sure you have a O2 sesnor BUNG in your exhuast which can be accessed to install my wideband 02 sesnor - this bung must be FLUSH To the pipe

2 - Walbro fuel pump # 342 is recomended for all cars being tuned - we have seen many a car with fuel supply issues on the stock pumps. We can do it on teh stock pump - it is just not as consistant or reliable a supply.

3 - BE ON TIME - if your late it only cuts into your tuning time

4 - Check here on Monday night for the location
