but yeah that running 2 sets of injectors has to be the best idea since pennut buter and jelly , for the 4 cyl high output motors.

2 sets of injectors... who would have thought, LOL! Mazda came up with that a long time ago. Peanut butter and jelly is good.

Yeah 2 sets of injectors - what a radical concept - I think you had that on your evo a year ago or more eh dan ?

Well now that you mention it, weve been using the dual rail (8 injector) set up since we were setting 9 second non nitrous 1/4 mile records with our awd eclipse shop race car over 5 years ago, but that was then. We do have the same type of set up on our Evo, and providing we can get a clutch that won't break, we should see the potential of our fuel system come to light this coming race season.

a bit off topic here, but i'm always curious about how are the '03-'04 models holding up in the transfer case/front differential department with all that hp? have you upgraded the front to LSD? do you think people are destroying their transfer cases and open front diffs because of improper break-in and launching? personally i'm more into twisty roads type of driving, so i never launch my '04 evo really, but i'm just conserned about what it takes to eat up transfer cases as some have done.

keep up the good work!

hahaha i still get the pb-n-j triangles from the brake truck whenever they have it. i remember seeing the 8 injector setup for the first time on a 4 cyl motor in steph pappadakis car back in 97 or 98 in the yellow hatch, that thing was sick.

The earliest example I can think of is probably the Mazda RX-7 back in 1986. I'm sure there are ealier examples but the Mazda is the oldest staged fuel injection set-up that I know of.

So far we have only seen a couple of transfer case failures and they have been on cars that are not making much power. Could have been just a fluke though. I have seen numerous 500-600 horsepower Evos not have any problems with their transfer case nor have they had upgraded diffs.

call titan motorsports they are a tilton dealer, i had them price me out the triple carbon disk one with the hydraulic throw out bearing kit that includes the master cylinder for the colt and he said it would be around 3900. not bad for the last clutch you'll ever have to buy.

the reason why its so expensive is because this clutch and those like it, is and are the last step before a slipper clutch.
