Yes - that is true. However, in this case - if you will note the base line was on the very high side. For some reason this was a very stong individual car.

This was the most safe whp I was able to make with a knock free tune so that is where I stopped.

Nice work! Looks like the stock trim was pretty lean up top? I could be reading it wrong.

Stock was rich - my tune as 11.3 / 1 a/f up top (we run the MR's a bit leaner due to the larger turbo back housing having less back pressure)
