Al. regarding pm i sent you

here, this is the dyno sheet.

a/f is crazy lean, but I've so far had no problem with it. I did get the dealer flash and god knows maybe those dealer guys messed it up... I would think I would run pig rich, not lean like that...

Stock ECU sucks. I would like to get your flash the 7th if possible. I know you're booked, but let me know if you can.

thanks Al.

I agree with doug - the car is running lean and the car can benefit from a flash

few questions:

1. Is that a/f ratio a normal for a car with Turbo back exhaust without cat. and MBC set at 21psi? if not what should I look for at fault? (injectors, spark plugs, fuel pump, etc) Because really, that's all I have.

2. Is that a/f chart sorta like the stock a/f?

I don't understand why it's so lean.

3. Also, I just got my SAFC II. I don't know how you feel about them, but I would like to use that to fine tune a bit later when I put few more things in my car. Would this be something that could be done?

thanks Al for your help.

thanks Al for your help.

1- It’s a bit lean and not normal. Wait for Al to tune it.
2- nope, its not stock A/F as stock goes way rich on top end more like 10 to something or even 9.

Don’t push on your car until Al comes down to see you guys and you will be ok. Stay in the midrange power

good luck

what would cause this? worned out spark plugs? fuel rail, fuel pump? injectors?

what the...

can't be the damn exhaust or me boosting to 21psi...

the weird thing is the a/f curve look fairely smooth, so it can't be the spark plugs...

I would get a fuel pump IMO.
If you get Al to tune it but have no more fuel to supply there is not much he can do for you.
The other thing is, many cars need fuel filters at like 30K miles you have 40K and a couple of ****ty tanks of gas really trashes the filter.

no you will loose flow rate but not pressure. Your not loosing fuel all together and then getting back, that would cause it to be irratic.

ok, looks like I've found something similar. The case study with the intake.

but only thing is that I don't have an intake... I have the stock box. TBE, boost set at 18psi and it's still following this similar a/f ratio with TBE and intake with boost set at 20psi.
