I've had Al's custom tune for about 6 months now. Never experienced any problems. My car gained power and got smoother. I have no idea what my gains are on paper since I never dynoed my car. I think that Al's tune is pretty good but then again, I've never tried other tuners. I think some people don't like Al because he is straight forward. He will tell you what you don't want to hear. And some people have problems with him for other reasons. I've never had a problem with Al and will get his custom tune again once I get my 05 if he decides to come back to Houston. If not, I might have to drive up to Dallas to get my car tuned.

Gentleman in Dallas - Thank you for the invitation to your fine city

I WILL come to Dallas

I can come memorial day weekend

I would need 5 guys to do the trip

I can assure each and every one of those 5 who sign up the very best possible tune that money can buy. My goal is that each one of you can show your fellow Dallas evo owners what they are missing. Hopefully some of you will take to the track also.

The prices would be as follows

Exisiting customer - full 2.25 hour custom reflash tune and pre-tune modification consultation - $325

The base flash is like the mail in flash. A determination of the ECU settings is based on the mod list, and experience. It is always on the conservative side for obvious reasons.

bluebanana - trust me, the extra money is worth it. People will spend $500+ on a catback to get extra 20hp. You will get that much extra on a custom tune over a base flash, and for $200.

Hahaha! EVOTEXAS is banned?! That is some funny ****. Sorry for spamming your thread like that. I'd like to know how the EcuTek flash goes, as you said it was the best.

Get Ready

Alright, I've said it in the past...Mark from TT is the ONLY one who has touched my car and I am more than satisfied with 342.8WHP on a Mustang dyno. I WOULD however like the opportunity to meet Al and ask some questions I didn't think of while Mark was here. Al, you ARE "stepping into the lion's den" here, and I expect everyone here to take advantage of your skills or at least show up so we can all see each other again. So far, we are VERY satisfied with TurboTrix and I wish the best for you while you're here. We have a great group of guys (including EVOTEXAS), so please expect some high powered Evo's while you're here. Now on a side note...are you going to be bringing any alcohol injection kits with you?
