Have you checked the code to see what was throwing the CEL? Also the BOV should not affect your idle in any way (especially the APS)

It's the famous P0300 or something like that, but why do I get the flames shooting out the exhaust? I just wanted to know if that is normal?

Getting a flash will not fix the P0300 code. I still get that code but only at idle. Shooting flame means you're running very rich and probably don't have a CAT. A tune will help that.

I got a flash already but I don't have a cat. My friends think that is really cool, but I don't know what to think. Is it ok is it normal? I only get flames when I push the car over 150 mph and then cool down. The flame stays there for about 2 minutes. One of the guys actually got it on tape. I am going to ask him so I can see it.

Al

I would like to change my 8:30 pm appointment to a full custom tune instead of a base flash.

Al,

I would like to know if it's possible for you to bring a Forge BOV for me to purchase on Saturday?? If not I will run to AMS and get one.

Also, I plan on changing my oil and sparks plug tomorrow. Good idea before the tune or bad?

Thanks,

Bump

It's too hard to drive my car with no boost and not driving past 5k. I can't wait to just open her up again!! :-D

I would also like a base flash either Saturday after 5 or early sunday morning. What would your availability be. Can send deposit ASAP.

I'm in the same boat as you, I haven't really boosted past 5-10psi for the last 3 weeks. I can't wait to see how she pulls after the tune on race gas. Can you say 110 oct. and 28psi
