Awesome!

Was this a 93 oct tune with race gas and the boost turned up or an actual 100 oct tune?

Can't wait to see what this car will do with a 272 exhaust cam and a test tipe or HF cat.

it was one of my so called "dual stage flashes" - he can run pump gas and 20 psi with the same tune

Sounds freakin sweet...I wanna have my IX ready for your next visit. Should I avoid upgrading to the 255 fuel pump and just go ahead wth the MBC+gauge?

I know you swear by the Forge MBC, but I'd really like the convenience of the Hallman Evolution RX Boost Controller Kit. Will you be able to tune comfortably with it on? Oh yea, when you coming back to AZ? I've told a few people of the numbers you achieved with the black IX, I've got some interested people waiting.
I have the hallman evolutions here in stock at $135 shipped - (black only)

They work just as good as the forge - I just prefer the design of the forge

With a IX you dont need a fuel pump upgrade - that was the point of our test today

As long as you are running on pump gas with normal boost levels you dont need to upgrade to a walbro fuel pump on an IX

That's freaking awesome. Praying that VIII's can see similar numbers with the turbo swap.

Nearly forgot - I crushed his BOV when I was instaling the MBC

The BOV is a super nice metal unit and it holds boost very well when crushed

You say it as if it's not the same as the JDM MR DV. Is it a different BOV? Have you tried crushing a JDM MR DV previously like a 1g BOV?

I am not sure on that - I would have to hold them both in my hands and compare the part numbers and spring tension

I never crushed a JDM MR one

I knew this customer would need a good crush job after I had a brief pre-tune conversation and he told me how much power he wanted

When crsuhing the BOV its crucial to go a bit at a time - you can always go more - butg if you go too far the BOV is junk
