tuned for track?

Al,

with your custom tune, is it safe to run on a road course for extended periods of time. I have read people talking about having to put different tuning for the track because of the full boost conditions all the time. true? Road America is in my neck of the woods, all 4.2 miles of it. and nect spring it will be tracked. I dont want to grenade the thing though. \

thanks.

I reflashed tune a guy who competed in the Mid Ohio SCCA National Championship Run Offs - no problems

Have faith. Like he is only going to tune u for Drag racing or Driving the speed limit. I suggest a couple gallons of 100 oct just to make sure it is extra safe.

Al's tunes leave enough room for you to do this safely, but I still think it's a good idea to toss in some 100oct. I toss in 100oct and actually turn up the boost some, but I don't lean out the SAFC like I do at the drag strip, so it keeps the tune safe enough to go ***** out.
