Something is really wrong. Do you have any boost leaks at all? Even though your boost guage reads the PSI you want, you can still have a big leak somewhere.

my friend j dog had his car dyno at dyno pack place and he has the same mods than you and it read 220 whp!!!!???? so he whent to a matrix one and got dyno at 297 whp
i don't really like those dyno crap i mean pack things. You should come to the torquefreaks event in portland and see what you get cuz those numbers are wrong i got 284 whp with almost the same mods than you in my 04 evo 8 i now own an EVO IX MR and the numbers i got where 265 whp i was happy!!!

Dynapacks are one of the most expensive units. True, different dyno's
read different results, but there is something most definatly wrong with
that car. Most modded Evo 8's make around 270 on that very dynapack.
It's not the dyno, its the car. Might be a leak, or a improper tune, but
something is wrong with the car, not the dyno.

Yeah, something is definitely off, and no, it's not just a "bad tune." We have one local 04 who has all the same bolt-ons, but no matter how many times he gets reflashed or tuned with SAFC and wideband, he just never makes power. The most he has put down is 255, and that's with the help of me and a bunch of other local DcEvo's. We can't find boost leaks or any problems, yet after switching on/off many parts and getting it retuned 3-4 times, it just isn't powerful. We haven't done a compression test yet, so that might tell the story, but he's basically planning on putting it back to stock, getting a IX, and carrying over his same basic mods to the IX, which I think is a good idea.

In this case, either something messed up on the dyno at that time, or something is wrong with this car.

Well, the easiest thing to do is scan it, then attach the file to your post here. If you don't have a scanner, then you have to take a digital picture, upload the picture from your digital camera, then use the "manage attachments" button at the bottom of the screen when you edit your first post, and attach the pic of the dynograph.
