So if possible, could you please overlay a graph from a Evo 8 with a 35R & stroker with similar boost levels compared to this one.

I think alot of us are very interested in seeing how much the MIVEC system can help with spooling a 35R turbo with this set-up.

Thanks in advance for sharing this information.
Bump for updates on this

Al,

I don't mean to be a pain, but if you have a chance could you post this. This is the only IX with a stroker & a 35R set-up that I am aware of & I think it would be very benefical to compare this with an Evo 8 with a similuar set-up.

The goal here would be to show/prove that the new MIVEC system can assist in decreasing spool time for a larger than stock turbos.

It's my current understanding that this system can assist in spooling a larger turbo by 200 or 300 rpms & I would like to see some data to back that up.

Thank you in advance for sharing this information.

Thanks-Big Boost

Are you still using a Motec as your standalone EMS? I "heard" a rumor that AEM was close to beta testing their EMS for the Evo9?

Sorry, but you won't se 9's with the 35r turbo. No way. You will find it very hard to reach mid 10's. The 9's sound good but it is easier said than done, belive me. You need around 140mph terminal speed, and you ain't getting that with the 35r.

you can run 9's on a gt-35r if you spray it, a much better option than getting a gt-37r or 42r turbo
