There are no modifications / changes or adjustments needed

ONLY possible draw back is that it is slightly louder than the stock pump

Some cars you hear it a bit and most you dont

Other than that it snaps right into the stock spot with 100% ease

Nino is selling it for $90.00 shipped so I think is cheap insurance

Will this void our warranty? Would the dealer know you swapped pumps?

I installed one during the tuning on the 21 Feb 04 and it took care of the problem. Even though the stock pump says that it is rated at that amount you have to consider other variables. Remember, you want parts to run at safe limits not max limits. Thats my opinion.

On Frank's car in 90 degree heat we could only run 15 psi and keep safe a/f's on the stock pump - with the walbro we ran 20.5 psi and still had plenty of room left on the fuel supply

I would think it would take a very **** dealer to search your car to see if you changed the pump

You could always take out your pump if you had a warranty claim

I am just trying to share some advice based upon what i see on the cars - mostly for the benefit of my customers

99.9999 % of the problems we see on tuing trips come down to the same things over and over, so IF I can get the word out before I get there it just makes things go smoother

The #1 problem areas are boost leaks, bad boost controller instals, leaking of misadjusted bov's, exhuast leaks and bad fuel

Fuel pumps because a real serious new issue on our new tuning trip in the hot 85 - 90 degree Florida sun - out of 6 custom tunes - 2 had bad pump issues - one had a boost leak and one had a bad bov

Just wondering, does anyone know what SCCA EVO VIII's used for a fuel pump? They were supposed to be "stock" but were rated at 400WHP+ with Ti impeller, anti-lag, etc...

There's no way they're using a stock pump with 400WHP+. There's a guy down here using a wet NOS kit and the car would sometimes hesitate everytime he sprayed, the solution... He upgraded his fuel pump and guess what, smooth boost all the way to redline.
