Well after a month of waiting and worrying, it is finally complete. I drove from Central California to LA on Friday after work to meet AL.

When I arrived at the hotel I saw a black Evo pull in and drive up to me. The person that was driving was AL. He wasn’t hard to spot due to his heavy New York accent.

He told me to hang out and wait till we drive to another parking lot. When we arrived I told him I was with 818racing and that I was getting the base flash. Right off the start he said he had some extra time and he would test drive the car to make sure everything was good with his flash. After about an hour of waiting for someone else to show and some negotiating I decided to do the full street tune.

I guess you can say I am kind of picky with my car; I like everything neat and in order. Well when AL gets in he’s got tools and wires going everywhere, which was kind of freaking me out. Right from the start Al was making me laugh so hard with his great stories about places he has been and cars he has tuned. This guy is definitely a funny guy.

Al could read my personality right from the get go about me and my car and kept telling me "hey bro, stop touching everything you are making me nervous and if I am nervous I cant tune your car" All I could do was laugh cause he could read me like a book.

Well we stopped at the quickie-mart for a drink and started flirting with this girl there and I swear she almost left with us! I think Al was shocked at the type of women out here in California.

Well when all the tuning was complete my car runs great. I have a stock Evo with a RMR intake and that’s it. The car pulls from 5k to 7,800rpm with no noticeable drop in rpm's whatsoever.

The car is more fun to drive and has way more power across the board. My fuel mileage was better on the drive home as well. I would recommend the tune to anyone who wants to wake up their Evo

I don’t race my car by any means but I do enjoy long drives and the feel of a powerful car. This tune has made my car feel worth 10k more than it cost.

Glad your happy with the flash I know I am ,AL is a master at tuning..I know he used my street tune as a base for other evos' so Im pretty proud about that

the car pulls so hard to red line makes me want to get more mods
right away . i have to save up a few more bucks before i can do it. i feel bad for when his cable's took a s**t on him
i know it can be hard with out your tools in working order.

when Al i go for a test drive we go flying past a cop. im like ahh
s**t 1st ticket in a bright yellow evo halling a@@ down the street.

the cop didn't chase us . so we finish the test run and the car ran great. im going to be one of the 1st
to get a custom tune next time with my other mods i put on.

i had alot of fun meeting all the guys out there on sunday night
secret chimp and im bad with name but all the cars i saw where looking good. i felt like mine was the dirty.. i plan on dynoing my car in the next few months a XS engineering and ill post up my
#'s

i havent been able to do it because i got some bogus core back from some people back east when i sent them out so im out
of cores right now sad kinda sucks for people who want a set. i guess thats what i get for being a nice guy. i should be getting some new cores soon..

 

Well, if I sent you my tailights how long is the turnaround? Some kids threw an egg at my taillight so it has some scartches so I wouldnt want to give it to you as a core.

I live in the Central Valley now so im too far away to drive but I will be in Orange County on the 28th and 29th so maybe then?

Al what ups with you and flirting with girls at gas stations?? When we were in this small little town in Tenn Al started hitting on this chick at a gas station too, it was funny as hell she did not know what to think as AL was throwing his game down at her. LOL
