NHRA East Coast Nationals - Dyno Flash wins "Best Appearing Car" reaches semi finals
Hey guys
I got an incredable honor from the NHRA today - I was selected
"Best Appearing Car" at the NHRA Sport Compact race in ATCO, NJ
I worked hard to put the whole apperance set up together so I really felt honored to recieve the recognition from the NHRA for my efforts
Also - I ran two back to back 11.2 runs which were right on the mark with identical 330 ' times of 4.732 and both with 126 mph
I was in Sport RWD heads up class!
The car was running very consistant and well and NOTHING broke through the whole weekend
A meeting against Sean Ivey !0.02 !!!!!!!!!- (took his first Wally!) ended my day in the semi finals - I came in third place overall - even though I treed him with a amazing .07 reaction time (Thanks to Nelson Hoyos for the great pointers at the Turbo Magazine Drag Racing seminar!)
SPECIAL PROPS to the Dyno Flash sponsored REBELZX from this forum who has only a exhuast, drop in filter. MBC and Dyno Flash who ran a incredable 12.98 on a 12.95 dial to advance deep into the braket racing - IN VERY HIGH 100% humidity and 100 degree track temps
Rebelzx was one of the last 6 braket cars left when they called the race due to the noise curfew and he won a trophy and cash
BIG props to all the dyno flash cars which came out to race this weekend !

Check out my reaction time in the second round of finals against Sean Ivey -

Sean Ivey brings out the best in me - he is one fast runner and a great tuner

I just want to say thanks to Big Al for sposoring DynoFlashed evos to race at Atco. It was a great experience to come down to Atco, race, and wow people with what our cars can do. Most of the people I talked to had no idea that evos could go so fast, or that an evo could run in the 12's with so few mods. Even though Atco isn't the fastest track in the world (you can't even bypass the waterbox!), DynoFlash evos showed up and kept up or beat the competition. I just wish the curfew wasn't in effect so I could have kept racing. With the times I was running, there was no way I could lose bracket racing. I attached some of the pics I took from Atco and my 12 second timeslip.
