I don't understand why you can not take a later time slot like at 9 or 12 on Sunday night ? don't cut things so close in case you are delayed in the plane

I'll be there all night on Sunday so its no rush !

 

There will be some spots on Friday - I have just have to book my flight and see what time I will get in - should know by tomorrow

 

Al just told me that for now he will be arriving on Friday, early afternoon. He said that we can book some time slots on Friday night. We can do 7:00pm - 9:30pm and 9:30pm to 12:00am. If demand is high enough he may add some more slots to Friday night or come down early.

If you want to take advantage of this oppertunuity you better hurry!! We are filling spots very quickly and demand has been very high. This is going to be one killer event!!

I think also that I will be trying to rearange SLIGHTLY the time slots on SATURDAY to organize a group dinner / meet - my treat - for all the Evo owners in the area to come down and hang out

I think I want to free up about an hour on Saturday night for this - IF there is sufficent interest in this

I think about 8:00 p.m. is a good time

ALl those who are interetsed in having a general Evo meet and a beer post up here and if we see some interest we can arrange something

Worst case we can just meet with the guys who are getting Dyno Flashed on Saturday night


As far as Friday if we get sufficent interest in the next day or two I will fly in on Thursday instead and tune all day friday and thurs night also

 

First, sure Al, a dinner sounds great! Count me in for sure; either night.

Second, the schedule has shuffled around slightly; so the first Friday spot is taken (7pm), but there is now a new Saturday spot (9:00am - 11:30am). So if anyone needs a Saturday spot there is one available now. Here is the new schedule (again subject to change; but I'll keep the thread up to date).

We have not decided yet where we will meet up. Al said give it a little time and he'll stare at a map and figure out what works best. We will probably be tunning somewhere in N. Tampa; so we can use I-75 (north of the traffic). None of this is locked in stone yet, but I just wanted to pass that info along. So likely dinner will be somewhere in the New Tampa area; since there is an abundance of restaraunts off of Bruce B. Downs and SR 54, and not a ton of traffic usually.

 

Moving to CALI in August and want to get a custom tune in Tampa. Does anyone know of 91 gas in the tampa area?

Please look around for me since a 7 hour drive from the ATL with no 91 would suck

 

I live about 20 minutes from Bruce B. Downs and it is a madhouse there saturday night for dinner. I would suggest we get a pretty accurate list of people about 2 weeks before and try to make a reservation somewhere.

Al, do you mind if Girlfriends/Wives join the clan. My girl is a car nut and would love to check out some other EVO's.

Snoop, they sell 91 octane at an Aamco gas station (7-11) at Bruce B Downs in New Tampa, which is right off the interstate I-75! I am 90% sure of this, but I will check again, I'll be out that way tonight. They sell like 87,89,91,93 all of them.

Siantjab, can you confirm this, you live in that area. It's the 7-11 next to Mcdonalds, In front of Olive Garden and Red Lobster in New Tampa.

 

kvcycle is right. Trying to have dinner in the New Tampa area without waiting like 2 hours is iffy. There is a Beef O Brady's up the road a little on Bearss, just off Bruce B Downs that wouldn't be as packed. There is also decent pool hall right next to it if some of the guys want to stay after dinner and hang out shootin' some pool.
