No problem, we still have four spaces left for Custom tunes. We have a spot late Friday night and three on Sunday throughout the day. I'll PM you the schedule.

All you have to do is PayPal Al a $100 for deposit (information in the very first post) and let me know what time you want. As soon as I have the information I'll lock in your time.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

Hey guys, I some how ended up with two Walbro 255 FP (mistake with shipping I guess). I only need one so I'll be selling the other. A great upgrade especially if Al is going to work his magic on your Evo. E-mail me or PM if interested. Sorry if this is out of place, but I wanted to sell it to someone in our group getting DynoFlashed.

I am looking for suggestions for a meeting spot to center the tuning from

The idea location is located near a major highway in an uncongested area that will remain congestion free over the weekend - e.g. not near any major concert venues or sporting events or beach activity

I do not need to drive very fast - but we do need a road that has wide sholders or numreous exits to pull over and make corrections - usually most of the tuning is at 40 mph to 75 and then we test out higher speeds when we are nearing compeletion

I am interested in a nice, new and clean Hampton Inn or the like. We have more success with these events when we locate it at a luxury style hotel geared towards business clinetel - that way we can have lots of evos gathered about all day long doing installs and comparing mods without having any hassels. We did it in getto run down hotels in the begining and they were the first to crack down and chase everyone away which is the last thing I want.

I usually find that somewhere on the outskirts of town like 20 miles out is good for traffic avoidance

For example in LA we met at a hilton about 35 miles north of LA and we have tuned even in the rush hour with no major problems and we had up to 20 evos there basically all weekend long and the hotel was loving our mini convention of fast cars

Looks like the pricing will be set at $495 for this trip as we have easily 10 guys for this

I have booked my flight in on Friday set to arrive at 4

There is some small chance we may sqeeze in enough for 15 guys to lower the price even more - but it is not looking like there is enough interest there

We can do some bookings on Monday if interest is sufficent and i will delay my return

Thanks for the excelent support !

Al,

Allow me to suggest the Brandon area. There is a Hampton Inn right there just off I-75 at Exit 257 and there are nice open stretches of both I-75 and US Rt. 301 between Brandon and Riverview which would be perfect for your tuning runs, IMHO.

Cheers,

Steve

NOVA EVO, we had talked about doing it in the North Tampa area, north of SR54. Al was telling me he needed open road and no traffic. Friday night in South Tampa is going to be littered with traffic. If you go north of 54 there is hardly ever any traffic (no one lives up there) and the police aren't that bad.

I'm cool with Brandon or wherever, but the only times I've been pulled over in Tampa it's right where you mention. Once right by the cross-town and once just north of Apollo Beach. There are way too many retired people down that way and the police are usually out in force. Not to mention the helicopter that snagged my friend down there! I personally would be a little nervous speeding around down there. Something as desserted as possible would be best. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, we have to be able to turn around easily; north of 54 all the exist are easy on/off and there are some rest stops.

Either way, anywhere is fine by me. Just my 2 cents. Man this is gonna be fun!
