July 10 and 11 - Tampa FL - book now
Hey Ozzie,
Nice goodies, that is going to be an entirely different beast in a few weeks!
Did you orde the Walbro with the install kit and rubber isolator?
I put mine in last weekend and it is hard to stay out of boost!
Can't wait, looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I tried that on mine and had no better luck. I can see getting to the turbo that way, for the two lines on it, but how did you get to the stock boost controller without pulling out the air box, and stuff?
I see. Yeah, all three of the evos that I've done this install on had stock air boxes. Funny thing is, I just installed a BR filter, and I probably should have done that first. Good call!
What intake are you running? I just installed the BR cone filter and it's loud as h3ll! It's loud enough that it's throwing off my butt dyno! Can't tell if it make a difference cuz I'm too busy listening to the WHOOOOOSH.. PSSSSST. LOL
I'm gonna try my best to get out there tomorrow.. But after a long day of work I won't want to clean the car up; and I hate to drive out there in a dirty a$$ evo. I'll do my best though.

I am running just the AEM Cone Filter, I had the whole setup with the aluminum intake pipe, but with my blow off valve (Works Duel Vent) it caused my car to stall like crazy. I decided I liked the sound better than the couple of HP the intake pipe may have given me. Eventually I will upgrade to the HKS RS kit.
I am on the fence about tomorrow night, it depends on how work goes tomorrow.

Would the KNN drop in make much off a diff? I like to go the stealthy way and not let Mitsu know much about my mods. For a while at least. THen when warranty expires - I can build a 500whp beast.

What hooters are you guys talking about? Who's going? John, I am going to order my MBC tomm, but I didn't realize that there was so much work. The site that Al referenced to go to , I think it was the Hallman site, showed an install that seemed alot simpler. Do you know the one I am talking about?
v8killer, the MBC install is not a lot of work, it's just kinda tedious. If you have a cone type intake it's a lot easier; as we discussed above. If not it just means taking some stuff out and putting it back in. It's not technically hard at all; there just isn't a lot of room to do it so you have to make some. I'm doing another one this weekend so I'm gettin my rythm down pretty good. I just don't want to do any installs in a rush. If we can get together before the tune it's not problem. My last MBC took about 2 hours, and we were chattin and stuff so we weren't hurrying. I just don't want to tackle something like an MBC install they day of someones tune. Too much risk in holding Al up. If you need help with the install just let me know.
As far as hooter's, it's the hooter's in Clearwater off of 60. Here's the link with all the info..

That Hooter's is about 30 miles from where we are meeting for the tunes. The event he's asking about is tonight though.
If you want to go to Hooter's for dinner while you're here there is one very close to I75.
