Yeah, SSKILLA, do that! Come on out!

Anyone who is interested in comming out and watching/hanging/participating please feel free to join us. If you decide you like what you see and how Al's tunes perform he can easily fit in a few Base Flashs. Bring your own refreshments and food since there will be none provided.

This is a great oppertunity for the TPA/FLA evo community to get together and meet each other. It could easily turn into something larger like some more organized meets further down the road (since our meets are usually pretty fun); or even help out in interesting the necessary people for some return trips by Al. So let's get out there and show Al just how friendly the Tampa (and all of Florida) scene really is.

I dont know of hotels or restaurants around the south end of 75 in Hillsborough but I do know that it is 4 lanes south and 3 or 4 lanes north and the least amount of traffic I have found in this town. As far as cops down there I have never seen any and I have tested the top speed of every car I have owned so far down there.

I think we're talking symantics now. Suffice to say we'll use I-75. From SR54 south to Bradenton is only a ~20 miles stretch of road. We'll see what traffic and man will allow. You're right tampaevo, there aren't many places to stay on the south end. I suggest Al stay somewhere near Bruce B. Downs Blvd. There are a bunch of hotels and motels around I-75 and Bruce B. Downs. It's easy to find from the airport and I think we all agree we're gonna tune on I-75 somewhere. Not to mention it's a nice area and there are two people right by there (including me) who have nice garages with air tools and anything we might need.

Al, shoot me a PM or give me a call if you need help getting the hotel organized. I can suggest several very nice ones right off of I-75.

God I wish that I could go all out and get a full turbo-back, cams and other goodies. My pops would have my head if he hears my car gettin loud.

Hey when you install ur Hallman MBC - tell me how you do it. I ordered one too. I hear different stories on how long it takes and I dont want a "unexperienced" shop to take a stab at it. Lemme know

SLVRNBLK, I'll definately give you a hand with that. Keep in touch and lemme know when is a good time for you. Evenings are best for me.

platinumspecv, I hear you! I wish I could get the 3" exhaust and all the goodies, but my kids would start to get hungry after a while.

As for installing the MBC it's not technically difficult at all. It's just that you have to take out so much stuff. I had to remove my upper IC pipe, Intake pipe and box, battery, and radiator fan just to get to the vacuum lines I needed to work on. If you have a real good set of tools it's not hard at all, but it is time consuming. If you're not completely comfortable with doing it I wouldn't start.

I've actually done a few now and I'm doing a couple more this week, and I just have not found an easier way to get to the lines you need to reach. The lines you have to get to on the turbo are in plain view, but you'd have to be plastic man to actually reach them with enough leverage to remove the factory lines.
