Yes I can take the Monday am slot if "asianxforce" needs my 9:30pm Sunday night as long
as you won't feel rushed Monday at 10:am....OldfartEvo...........

 

I was gonna say that Oldfartevo paid first, but if he's willing to switch that's up to you guys. Just make sure you give him a good tune on Monday; he's a cool guy and we worked hard to get his car ready in time.

But I'm sure we'll all get the best possible toon! I personally can't wait!

If you guys decide to switch let me know and I'll update all spreadsheet and everything. This puts us at 15 custom tunes and 1 base flash. So we should be good to go for $475 on the custom tunes. Al, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey guys - VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please most importantly - EVERYONE UP for custom tuning . . . . . MAKE sure your rear o2 sensor is located in a bung which is FLUSH to the rear cat back exhuast pipe. (we hook up the wideband in that bung) SOME manufactuers have been known (Buschur for a limited time) to install a EXTENDER pipe on the rear o2 sesnor to attempt to avoid CEL 's from the lack of a cat. IF you have a extender pipe on your rear o2 sesnor bung you will NEED to contact me asap so I can send you a extra bung which you can have welded in at any local exhuast shop.

Also - please keep the following in mind when gettin ready for your custom tune

1 - Make sure you run a name brand 93 or better fuel - don't try to save a few pennies with Costco or similar cheapo gas

2 - Make sure you are holding boost and it is adjusted to about 20.5 psi peak falling down slightly

3 - If you have over 20,000 miles get a fresh set of plugs

4 - Check your oil and fluids and tire tressure

5 - Try and make sur all mechanical items are in god working order e.g. no bost leaks , no exhaust leaks etc

6 - VERY IMPORANT - be on time - if you're late it will reduce the amount of time I can spend tuning and testing your car. There are NO refunds of the deposits so if you snooze - you loose!

7 - Get read to have fun - learn about tuning and watch and see how we adjust your tune and how the car reacts to various adjustments

 

Hey al - if I have a the stock exhuast - I dont have to do any modifying right? The only mods I will have are:

MBC set at 20psi
Walbro 255
KNN Drop In
Evo MR BOV

Do I really need a custom tune? Will it help? What do you recommend for my kinda mods?

I have stock exhaust and I'm getting a custom tune. The question is do you really want the extra 10 - 20 HP that comes with the custom tune? I DO!!
