Does it hold steady boost in 1st and 2nd gears?

I doubt you will ever get full boost in 1st and 2nd no matter what bov you install.

Yeah, you can, or at least get close...but the engine gets to redline so quickly in first you often don't have time to build boost...I can hit 20.5 PSI all the way up with my Hallman MBC...

So you peak at 20.5 and it holds? Where did you install your mbc line, to the turbo nipple or tee'd into the bov line?

NOVA has his running between the wastegate nipple and BOV/intake line. I know cuz I hooked it up. I've hooked up at least nine that way and all of them hold boost to readline, with no tapering. I was testing mine yesterday and this morning to be sure, and it was solid 21 psi and didn't drop til I shifted. Only in first gear it was 20 psi solid.

Well, siantjab did the install, so he would know better than me...it holds solid as a rock!

Thanks, siantjab...you already answered the question...

I also have mine tee'd into the bov line. I guess it's time to get a Hallman because my boost falls big time. Thanks.

Ok i put the hoses the way you told me to set it up and the leak is still there. I know im leaking from a IC hose/pipe cause its too loud of a wooosh for it to be the BOV, cause the BOV is quiet when recircing. SO i know its the hose/pipe and not the BOV.

yea but when the boost leaks, you can hear it loud, and on my boost gauge i lose close to 10PSI when i rev it hard off the line, so its killing me when i race it and rev hard. I hope i find the damned leak soon.
