Got walked by stock evo w/ custom dynoflash

Well like the title says, I got walked by a stock 03 evo with a custom dynoflash. We did about 4-5 runs and every time he would pull about 3/4 of a car length by the time we hit 100. I have the following mods on my car: hks rs intake w/ apexi filter, helix dp, helix catback, and a stage rev flash. This just goes to show that al's flash can realy awaken a stock evo. I cant wait to get my car custom flashed w/ my mods.

3/4 cars is no "walk" - definitely a drivers race ... Walking is buslength pulls.

The stock evo in question was me... I drove both cars... My car has a smoother power delivery and seems to come onto boost quicker. The fact that my redline is a little higher also might have something to do with it... I think Nick just needs a tune for his mods and then he'll put down serious HP. But even then, after I get mine, I'll own him again :-P

For all the Dynoflash haters, I can attest to the fact that before I had dynoflash, my car was noticibly slower.

Hey Al... I get free mail in updates huh ? (I should since i bought your rims...)

Funny, I was at the Tampa tune, and got a full custom tune. I've kept in touch with several of the others who got tuned and they all seem very happy. This is the first I've heard about this.

As for my car.. It is a heck of a lot faster now. Both noticably by feel and lower timeslips. I'll be happy to go down to Bradenton at any time and prove that again. I had a blast the last time I went.. My car feels great!

well with all your mods, if you are running big rich, you wont be going anywhere on the top end .... since you were racing to 100, i think you need to be alot leaner

I don't want nick's post turning into another Flame Al fest... This post is about these two cars... Under these circumstances, the stock car flashed performed better than the non-stock unflashed.
