Unable to break 26psi

Like the title says, I am unable to boost past 26psi. I'm running the forge MBC and stock MR BOV. The boost will hold at 25-26 psi strong without alot of taper so I'm pretty sure it's not a boost leak. Any suggestions? I was thinking about getting the buschur MBC(I don't want to get into direct boost cont). What BOV's are you guys running that are pushing 28-30psi?

If your MBC is screwed all the way in and assuming there are no boost leaks, you need to tighten your WG preload.

If there is a boost pill in line that will limit boost to 25-28 psi or depending on pill size.

Pills in vacuum lines connected to an MBC would increase boost, not decrease its limit.

I have the MBC cranked and the wastegate adjusted all the way- same results. I think it's the mbc

Try unscrewing and screwing back in the knob, it helped me once when i used to use an mbc and something was weird, actually i think maybe the boost was low.. yeah try that. or take it apart if you feel like it. maybe a spring and ball got caught up weird..

Also i guess it never hurts to check if the lines are connected to the right ports. Maybe you reversed those and now running WG boost, which if you tightened the WGA spring good can be 24psi.

Doh! Guess I should have read more carefully thought this was ECU boost control. I'll go crawl back under my rock now

Stock MR BOV 29psi. Replaced all the stock hoses with samco. Stock hoses are horrible, had 2 of them split.

The stock metal BOV's are all over the place on what they can hold. Some hold 26, some hold 28, etc etc

If you slightly crush it, it will hold more at peak. Crushing mine went from 28 psi to 33psi with no other changes.

I crushed mine slightly, and it won't hold boost to save its life...Went to the track this week and my car would only make 25 peak, but on a roll on in lower rpm's I can hit 30+..Get the tial q recirc valve (the bong)..

The stock metal bov can hold boost.

You only hit 25 at the track because you where most likely 5500rpm + through the gears, on the roll on you where lower rpm.
