e85 tryout?

I am wondering can I run E85 with the stock injectors running stock boost? If I run an E85 map? I realize that an upgraded fuel pump and injectors are needed but before I get them what boost level will the stock IX pump and injectors handle. be nice.

Well, what are your IDC's? Is there 30% left? If so, then the answer is yes?

If your IDC's are less then 77%, then you can run E-85 at your stock boost level. Although, I'd prefer to have a bit of a margin.

And, keep an eye on your AFR as you approach redline. The IX pump should be able to keep up, but not all pumps are exactly the same output.

X2...upgrade the pump, play it safe, it takes a little over $100 and 30 min's to install.

call me if you want as i am currently on e85, but as above really you need pump + injectors to have any real power benifit from e85.
