ok... my local(ish) servo just got FlexFuel...
yay!
so I will be converting my car (once the build is done).
However the flexible nature of flex has me wanting to develop a Flex patch for the Evo10.
What's the easiest/cheapest way to get a Ethanol Control signal to the ECU? I don't need the fancy gauge..

The ethanol content sensor outputs a PWM signal, so if you've figured out how to read a frequency-based signal and you know of a spare frequency input, then that's the cheap solution using a sensor. Many newer flex fuel vehicles are relying on the fuel trims to interpolate, so that's another method.

well I can probably dig up a spare pulse input on the ECU, but worst case I will get a FTV circuit made up..
since I have 9 altmaps I was just going to assign say 8 to a tune for E50 and 9 to tune for E98 and then manually interpolate..
I don't think boost will change much, so in the immediate it will just be fuel maps and timing that will change...
