Any one running E85 AND meth/h20 injection?

I'm thinking about running this setup and would like to know if anyone has or is running a meth kit (I'm prob going to run a 50/50 mix of meth and water) along with E85? I'm wondering if there are any things specifically I should know vs. using a meth kit with pump gas? Thx!!

Start your reading with these.

IMNSHO, stick with straight E85.

Actual e85 is pretty good stuff and you can already find MBT and even go beyond it in most cases. Meth allows the same thing, I believe it will just complicate tuning more and you won't see any real gains unless the tune wasn't sought on e85 first. E85 also runs the engine cooler so 50/50 wouldn't do much really for combustion temps. If it was really worth a **** you would see the big dogs doing it.

The only fuel that sees any real gains over e85 is q16 because its an oxygenated fuel so it makes more power the leaner you go.

ok, thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure if it would cool the intake temp/charge and add a little more power potential with the meth. I will spend my $ on something else.

Project, any references for this statement?

Not sure if they really know anything or not, but AWD Motorsports says they make more power on E85 than on Q16. AWD is in Florida, so maybe the higher humidity has something to do with it.

AWD on E85.

I did and do not recommend it. Methanol injection is just too complicated to get working correctly an consistently.

I've used meth kits in the past and had nothing but problems with switches and pumps failing etc...I just bought an AMS race head and going to spend the $ on some bigger cams (selling my GSC S2's if anyone wants to buy them)
