What is the future of E-85??
Totally untrue. If you are tuned for it and know what your doing with the ECU it is better for your motor than gasoline. Burns cleaner, cooler burning, cheaper and basically all around better than even 93 octane. Take a look at a motor that has burned 93 octane all of its life.. then tear apart a motor that has seen E-85 or 98 for the majority of its life.... Tell me what you think about how bad it is after you see the evidence.
It is BETTER for a motor, hands down, bar none.

We have a few stations scattered around N.C. to get E-85. I usually have to drive about 30 minutes away, but I take 10 5 gal. fuel tanks and fill them up all at once. To me the extra effort is worth it. On the bright side I spoke to a Shell manager a couple of weeks ago and he told me that Shell had recently purchased a very large Ethanol producing facility. According to him, all Shell stations would be starting to add E-85 over the next few months to a year. Don't know how much validity to put in this but if it's true it would be great for everyone using E-85.
I wish they would put a couple pumps in around my area. I would make the switch in a second. I am just not going to drive 30 miles round trip to get fuel and not be able to get it on the other side of town.
That would be sweet if all the Shell's around started carrying it. Seems NC is on the last of the list for people converting over. You would think they would try to step it up after that gas shortage not to long ago.
I just looked all around the Mooresville area and cant find any

I hear you-- this website may not be complete but the only Jacksonville site is "private" (govt/fleet);

Same problem exists over on the gulf side- even Tampa is "dry" and there are tons of FFV's over there- ticks me off when I fly in to Tampa and rents an FFV but have to run it on gas. There is a company that is working to add stations around your state but I cannot remember the name of it right now.

No doubt. Yea I dont know of any in Mooresville. Not that it would help, theres Statesville rd., Woodlawn rd., Shelby, and Fortmill. These are the only ones I know of. There is supposed to be a place in Statesville that u can take a 55 Gal. drum to and mix your own. Not sure of name, but I can find out if you want.
