You mean running E85 on the stock turbo and stock cams but with other mods like exhaust or do you mean on a 100% factory stock car with just fuel system upgrades?

If you are looking for stock turbo and stock cams but with other mods like exhaust and intake check out a bunch of threads I have started for that data.

thx bryan.
yeah i have some bolt on's like exhaust and decat, walbro etc
but generally very simple mods
basically not wanting to forge or change turbo but get the most and e85 has to be part of that i'm sure

is adding 28-30% to the whole of your pump fuel map a starting point for e85 fuelling?
i guess'd that based on the extra 30% ish of flow need over pump ?

The answers you're looking for can be found with a quick search. Mrfred posted a lot of info regarding e85 and fuel mods on the ecu

Don't do that just change the scaling of your injectors which effects the whole fuel map on its own. Bone stock scaling should be like 513 so e85 scaling should be something like 359.

ah brilliant and hence the v7 alt inj scaling i guess

thx to all replies

p.s why do most stock roms have inj scaling at 542? if 513 is the norm for stock?

depends on the rom some are 513 and some are 542 i think it was based on the idea some usdm models needed to be richer than normal.

how did you tackle your first e85 tune with regard to first fill up?
did you run the tank down till you virtually ran out of pump fuel then filled up with e85? i ask as, if you do fill right up but have issues running your stuck?
but if you only add a gallon say you can get back pump reasonably easy
or is it a case of "it will run" just maybe rough and don't get on to boost until some tuning has been done and a good few gallons used to ensure the left over pump fuel is not tipping the balance of e85 drastically

Waited until i was nearly bone dry and filled up with e85

I had my laptop with me so i changed the scaling until it was right within a block.
