now onto the map there are a lot of tables that are in here and most are waaaay over my head

i am trying to get some info on the meaning or controls these maps provide - most i never knew existed

here is what i think:
  • Baudrate - i think this is the logging rate
  • FAA - i don't think i need this if i have all the bit tables in my map?
  • Closed Loop 14.7 - disable with NOP - huh?
  • Asynch - what does this mean?
  • RequestID 01-04- what does this mean?
  • Tephra Hook- what does this mean?
  • 37b00 alt map- what does this mean?
  • OBD- don't think i need this since i don't need to past any laws etc.
  • Ignition Trim vs..- what does this mean?

Thanks for any help!

    So do I.
  • FAA - i don't think i need this if i have all the bit tables in my map?
    Dunno
  • Closed Loop 14.7 - disable with NOP - huh?
    NOP = No Operation
  • Asynch - what does this mean?
With regards to what? Asynch_VS_TPS_delta is the accel enrichment for TPS input.
There was a post somewhere by John Banks that explained what the asynch routines were, can't remember exactly what they were.
  • RequestID 01-04- what does this mean?
These are shortcuts to the relevant MUT entries.
  • Tephra Hook- what does this mean?
I remember John asking for the Tephra Map Hooks (?) Maybe these are the entry points?
  • 37b00 alt map- what does this mean?
    ?
  • OBD- don't think i need this since i don't need to past any laws etc.
Up to you whether you keep it in the xml or not, no harm in keeping it.
  • Ignition Trim vs..- what does this mean?
    Adds/Subtracts Timing dependant on conditions.

Thanks for any help!

thanks bro i owe u two

so i tried the speed density today, NO CELs YAY!

car idled well - did not get a chance to drive any distance however for some reason the WGDC tables are not working in the Alt MAP it was set to 20 throughout and now i am hitting 29 psi here are my maps, first is the Alt Map:

then the Normal boost maps:

before i only hit 12psi (wastegate) on the 20 WGDC and 18 psi on 50 WGDC

BTW u have the address for desired idle drive RPM? i tried some HEX addition/subtraction as you can see it did not work out

Thanks!

I take it you're not using the xmls I gave you for the SD stuff?
(use the evo9base xml i sent you too)

I only ask as the Wastegate duty tables are different (there's some repetitions), and the boost enhancement-antilag junk is still in there

Can't help you righ tnow on the other stuff as I'm on a diff laptop, but I'd check the addresses for the Max Wastgate tables to see if they're the same.

I'll check the idle when i have access to my other laptop, prob not for another couple of days.

RE: Idle xml...

Can't help I'm afraid, I don't see it with the combination of xmls I'm using, I only have the 'Desired Idle RPM-Neutral'

I use an AVCR so again, I'm a little stuck on this one, sorry

Never really looked into the boost tables very much.
It's definitely on my 'to-do' list though, as many people have switched to a 3 port with good results.

Have you tried looking at the other boost control threads to see if there's anything in there?
