Mileage is the only thing holding me back from doing e85. Theres plenty of stations around I just dont want to fill up every 2 days lol. But it is a massive power increase hmmmm

with the right tune and low loads mileage is easy. the benefits of e85 in the power department are great too, but you need a lot more fuel to do it.

last year when i drove to the shootout in my evo i got around 300 to a tank (with fic 2150cc & double pumper).. but that was staying 100% out of boost. force the car into open loop at cruise and have some fun experimenting.. once you find the right timing and fuel combo for your car you will see some decent mpg. personally i dont even care about mpg in my car.. normally when i take it out its 90% WOT. which is what? 5mpg? lol.

ya around 200 is what you'll get without any fancy stuff at cruise with the trims dialed in properly.

My can is pretty much empty since April this year. There's some oil residue on the clear hose going to the can, but it's minimal. I think that guy has bigger problems that could have been intensified by his new power/lead foot when he switched. It's unrelated IMHO. Why did he use a catch can to begin with?
