Converting to e85
What's a cook
No seriously I'm making the same transition to E85 on my stock viii daily driver. I'm going to run FIC 1050's with boost set to 26 psi at peak torque tapering to 22psi at redline. This is easy to do with a GM 3 port BCS.
Don't forget if the winter blend in your area changes to E70 (for better cold starting) this will make you run leaner and require a retune. Or if you want to get in to this for real, grab EcuFlash and start learning.

Lower ethanol content = richer AFR
Higher ethanol content = leaner AFR
^^^^ what he said...... Higher ethanol content and you're going to lean out some....... As long as your not tuned to the ragged edge it should be alright. Ecu flash is your friend I try to keep my afr's around 12-12.3 on e85
Wat up everybody. Ive been reading a lot on e85 n from wat u guys are saying I think I want to do the conversion as well. Ive got a few bolt ons nothing major, how do I go about this, n wat do I need? I have one other question, is it possible to get better mpg on e85, if its tuned to?
