not normal at all. might need to adjust your cranking tables. check with your tuner

^^^Agreed. Had the same issue years ago. Now, max of 2 (2 sec.) cranks & it fires right up

Where are you smelling the fuel? How did you confirm the injectors were not leaking?

(I was getting a whiff of fuel in the engine bay & found an upper injector seal torn)

There is a proper way to test for injector leakage but Ive never done it (its certainly not a visual)

If you don't have a cat you will smell fuel when you stop.

Agreed with the above. It needs to be very rich on the crank tables.

Yeah,I used simple method to check leaky injectors.I start the car and sprayed break cleaner around injectors area.idle didn't change.I run catless so now I understand why I smell gas when stop.never smelled on regular gas.tuner made rich from -20 to 80 degree, still same crap when around 40 degree.

"Brakes" cleaner is very corrosive for that area. Try starter fluid next time.
