California, E85 and smog testing

Some more E85 info.

I recently smogged my Evo 8 here in Califonia. E85, 272/280 cams, FMIC, FPgreen, 1kcc injectors, etc. Used the settings in this post for OBD2 inspection: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...l#post11095091. All I did for sniffer testing was put the cat back on and it passed smog with flying colors:

I took mine in with the test pipe still on and it didn't pass the sniffer but once I slapped the cat on it passed with flying colors just like yours.

Bryan, So you did not adjust your tune? And, you passed the visual w/the ARC intake & all those other bits?

How can you pass visual with all the after market parts on like that? I know that you can get an intake that is CARB legal but the rest I thought was a big no no.

Car was modded in a stealth way. Under hood looked pretty much stock. Stock airbox, etc
