Injector scaling and latecy for different injectors.
Alright guys. I have a weird situation and I've read through this whole thread and haven't found a solution. April 2012, Stock 06 evo was tuned on PTE 1200 on pump. Scaling was 815 at that time. Car ran great and fuel trims were around -2-3% although the scaling seemed low. May 2013, car now has a built 2.0 LR, ported head, ported intake and a several other supporting mods.
So I tune the car with the same injector settings. After the tune is done on pump Im at 860 and trims are -1%. Perfect but still think scaling is way low. Move on to e85 with switched mapping on the stock ecu. Started at 600 thinking It would be a close start. Nope.
Im now at 457 and still seeing +15% cruising. Might end up under 400 to get to 0%. No boost leaks, no vacuum leaks. Way off of what others are seeing for Precision 1200 injectors. Thoughts from the experts?

My mid LTFT is this. I got down as low as 400 even and still was around +15%. Ive tuned other evos with the same base starting map and had better results with the scalings so I don't believe it to be a setting I have set wrong.
These are from driving the car at 55-70 mph steady for 30-45 min at a time. Open loop load set at 80, fuel map at 14.7 in all cells surrounding the cruising areas so numbers won't scew. Ive tuned a dozen evos with no issues except this one. I can't touch the car again until saturday so Im going to throw in stock injectors and see what my readings end up being on pump gas.

Couple of options for you:
1. Send em to FIC for a clean and flow test. My 1050s behaved the same until they were cleaned out with the ultrasonic rig they use.
2. They may not really be PTE 1200's - anyone can stick a label on wrong.

Sorry don't have the ASNU injectors, but for anyone else running the FIC 1050cc High Z injectors, these values are working great for me. LTFT Short is -0.5 and LTFT Mid is -0.1.
