Help with injector scaling
I downloaded my stock IX rom, but when I open up the injector scaling and this is what I see:

When I try to change the value ecuflash crashes. Here's the info on the rom:

Any ideas? I also tried several other maps (Evo8) and the value loaded fine. Thanks in advance

A week or two ago, I installed a vista patch and when my computer was vista style, I couldn't see the numbers in a couple boxes. I didnt try to change numbers I couldn't see, and my program didnt crash. I went back to XP style and everything was fine.
Additionally, I'm a lil hesistant to make changes to the map and flash it back to my ecu because of this value..... please help anybody?? What's the easiest way to get a hold of Colby?
You might want to post your ECU ROM file either here or on openecu.org. It is possible that the default definition used for the Evo IX is not correct for your ROM, which means that a new XML definiton needs to be created for it.

You have the Type 13 rom. Injectors scaling is not available. All you have to do is flash it with a Type 15 and build off of that map. Not really a big deal, but nothing that I have tried has been able to bring the function back in the 13 and 14 roms. Its a glitch in some code somewhere but frankly beyond me.

JohnBradley,
Thanks for the info!
If I am building off a Type 15, should I leave it at 513 cc/min as the injector scaling? That is what I can see in the stock Type 15!

That is correct, no need to change that until you go to larger injectors. When you flash this for the first time it takes about 2 minutes to completely reflash the car versus the usual 15-20 seconds if you reflash with the same rom type.
