new red tails using vinyl cover

I wanted to go with red tails because the chrome was killing me, and after going to the dsm shootout in august and seeing all the red tails, they looked the best so i went with some overlays, let me know what you guys think

in comparison to evo 7 tails, they seem rather dark, but i always drive with my lights on so seeing through them isn't an issue.
All together it cost me i think 75 shipped for the tail lights, and 55 for the overlays, so this is about a $130 job, better than the alternative 300+ for 7 tails

all comments welcome

For the price it is a great alternative but I like how the turn signals are clear in the 7 tails. Other than that it looks good!

i agree to an extent, but i'm not a fan of amber in any way, so red turn signals for me

but i do think the clear turn signals would give it better contrast instead of just a solid color

i used this site called rvinyl, much cheaper and you get a lot more for less
check it out
also, some advice, with this you need some patience and you can NOTTTTT complete this task without heat. You're supposed to use a heat gun or something, but i didn't have one so i just kept throwing them in the oven at 170* and taking them out, worked pretty well

Nice job man. I love how closely they resemble the JDM Evo 7 tails
