Determing Evo IX ECU Ign. DTC mode
I was perusing more of my logs and there were some anamolous timing descrepencies in the scans that trace back to being read off of my Evo IX's Ign map #3 (DTC mode). I was wondering what determines when the ECU switches to that mode?
Evoscan is notoriously erroneous in reading if anything triggers a DTC or not. I would assume a simpel SES (CEL) light does not necessarily enforce the ECU to do willingly, unless some specific codes are tripped. Does anyone know?

Well the only codes I have been setting off are 134 (that I can remember, there was a 131 and 2187?) but you can tell its definitely in safe mode. I made the LOF and HOF map all the same to see if it keeps from going rich. What were the knock sums if any that may have contributed to it going to map 3?

i had ks of 5-6, but this was mostly during off throttle when i saw it. what's interesting is that it seemingly corrected itself and went back to normal imap #2 afterwards.
