I think the scaling will have to end up at an even higher load value than that Tom. The onset of peak boost under drag conditions is different than that on the dyno. The shifts at WOT create boost spikes..especially that 3-4.

The lift-off knock is what really killed the run. At some points the log showed 30+ degrees of timing between shifts. I see 10's in Tom's future and Im happy to be a part of it.

I don't want to go higher than 320 because the car actually runs really great even with the stock 260 scaling.

Yeah I agree, even at 21psi on my 35r I periodically hit 300% or so.. (I am scaled to 320%)

Well, this scaling gets me to 340...

0 10 25 40 60 80 100 120 140 160 180 200 220 240 260 280 300 320 340

bump because i will be in teh same boat as you guys in a few week

now i am getting a gt35r kit because it was really good deal and it will cure my short time goals with the car and long term ones...

i want to keep my stock injectors and stock fuel management for a few months, so i am going to install it w/o that and run bigger injectors down the line.

I know its not a good idea, but i want my MPG because i daily it and drive it ALOT

The car already has a EBC/SAFC/Wideband/Turbo back/Intake/larger FMIC

Would 400 to the wheels on pump & stock injectors and fuel pump be pushing it??

Im only going to run 24psi if that (what evey the stock injectors can take with out maxing out).

Also who does reflash's down here in socal?

400 awhp on the stock pump????? No sir. Stock pump is maxed around the 300 awhp mark. Get yourself a Walbro 255 and you should be good to around the 500-550 awhp mark.

I just pulled the trigger on a 35r myself... the deal was just too good to pass up.

I'll have some information to contribute to this thread once I start the install but I have a feeling there will be more questions coming from me then answers, lol.

Well I'm tuning out my maps with my stock injectors just because I feel like it and I'm going to be nice and contribute to help start generating some base maps out there for people. My 780s are in a box beside me when I max out the stockers.

Started turning up the boost tonight from the base 1 bar of my WG and I must say that I'm liking it much more. Turbo hits pretty hard at about 4500 in 3rd and obviously pulls like a freight train from there on. Boost is 18-ish tapering to about 16 as I have to play w/ my WG duty cycles on the Xede a bit more. Very pleased with the results...this turbo LOVES timing at lower boost levels.

GT35R Pushing almost 700awhp is not bad.

so im guessing, the stock injectors car hold 400hp???

i want to put on the kit as soon as i get it, and just run it at low boost i am going to keep the motor stock for now other then rod bolts and some cams the ACT 6 puck i just put in wont hold more power then that anyways...

Has anyone calculated load on a big turbo at boost levels from 15-25psi?

at 22psi I'm calculating loads of 330 (4000-5500rpm) or so on a GT35r... Does that sound right?

I wish I could understand what you meant by your response..

I'm looking for load values in a particular RPM range.. I'm at just about full boost pretty much 3500rpm or so..

What I'm curious about is other GT35r's Load readings.. Mine can go as high as 330 with a 22psi spike at lower RPM, and my MAF readings are 2000hz and higher..

I'm fairly sure this is the type of value most are seeing, but since I run a blowthrough MAF, I have no baseline to compare against. My Rom is scaled to 320 and I'm thinking I might have to go to 340..

FWIW, If I'm overrunning the Map, Its not pulling timing by going one step over.. I think it happens when you seriously overrun your map (a map scaled for 260 and load calculating at 300, or something to that affect)

I get a bit of knock when tip in and downshift, it subsides very quickly but I can see why its happening (high timing, low load jumping to lower timing, higher load) with not much option to "fix" it because it'll affect drivability.

it is possible the ECU extrapliates your timing & fuel values based on the previous columns of data on your map if you overrun your load scaling?

so for example, if you had the last 4 load columns timing value set at 6,5,4,3 if you over ran that section of the map it would estimate a 2 as being the next value... just guessing here but that would make sense to me...
