Stock 04 rom w/ P0300 fix

Just wondering if anyone had a stock 04 ROM w/ the P0300 fix. Dealer gave me the run around about it so I figured I would ask the community for help. Thank you in advance. * I searched here and openecu.org and didn't find anything.

First they didnt want to touch my car because of my mods, then they said I had to pay, I agreed because I just want to try and get this damn SES light off, then they tried to tell me they didnt have an EVO tech blah blah blah. Just sick of the run around. I figured if someone here already had the flash it would make my life just that much easier.

If you do a search through some of the threads.. There are tweaks you can make to "improve" things.. But its important to get a snapshot of WHEN the code gets thrown so you know where you can focus...

On my car, I get it at very low RPM (rarely if ever at this point) and very low load when I'm leaving the parking lot at work.. Never happens any other time.. But when I looked at the snapshot, I saw adjacent cells had a large jump in timing that it would cross through at that point..

On other situations, you might have to copy the knock filters from another rom.. Which isn't recommended, but if you can isolate the RPM and load, you might be at least able to compare different roms to see whats different in that region.

If your '04 ROM corresponds to MN191022 with an internal ID of 96420011, then the P0300 fix can be found on openecu.org. I've looked at that ROM, and the only adjustment that was made from a stock ROM was to bump up the low-RPM/low-load values in the knock filter 5 map. No other changes were made.
