Anyone having this problem with v0.9?

I used to open the Data.xml file of the ver 0.8 and edit the order in which the parameters appeared in the log. I liked to see RPM, timing, KS and octane next to each other and it worked fine in ver 0.8.

When I tried to do the same thing in ver 0.9 I get an error mesage "cannot open com port 1." Whne I use the Data.xml file as is, then the program works fine.

Did anyone experience the same thing? How did you fix it?

I moved several definitions around without causing issues in EvoScan v0.9.

Then I must be doing something wrong. I tried it twice and both times Evoscan gave me an error message.

Can you guys share your xml file? I want to try it and see if your works in my program.

to verify that your edits of the XML file are valid, try loading it into IE. If IE can't parse it, then you have a syntax error in the file somewhere.

Yes I did...Now I know what is wrong...I have tried three edits with the same results...Now I have to do a fourth, but I will leave wideband unchecked.

Is there anyway to make it so everytime I open EVOscan I dont have to check the little WB square and selet my WB and port.
Also, if someone can tell me how I can make it so certain data collums can be next to each other in Excel, that would be great.

Go into the "Data.xml" file (using TextEdit or Notepad) and change the "Y" to "N". You can also rearrange the ordering of the definitions.
