It's impossible to tell just from the appearance of a map

If everything is stock you can run more timing than that (specifically the map on the upper left). At least at stock boost levels you wont have any issues. Small steps, but look for something near 7 or 8 degrees at peak torque at stock boost. More depending on conditions. Alot depends on all of your other maps though, how lean it is, where the MIVEC is curved, etc.

you posted a graph of map 1, the car uses map 2 after it is at normal temp, not map 1

Map 1 is the warmup map on Evo9. A good way to blow a headgasket is to modify that map.

Map 2 is normal operating temp map.

I suggest you contract a proficient Evo Reflash Tuner to do your first map so you can see the changes, and then make further adjustments customed tailored to your individual mods.

Hell sometimes we help more than the customer paid for when we have the free moment to do so.

PM me if you are interested in a basemap or custom RemotEflash for your mods.

I might take you up on that. I have tuned a few things from turbo FSAE race cars to my turbo honda on E-85 but i think that might have been a little more straight forward and i wanted to ask some questions about the car before i just jumped in.

in the long term what i would like to do is have dual maps in the car one for e-85 and on for 93 oct. I don't know if i can make this work with the stock high and low oct setup or in worse case i would have to reflash every time i wanted to change fuel.
