How much load??

I was just wondering how much load I would hit with race gas and boost turned up to 25-26lbs.

Will i go off the map??

My tables are scaled to 300.

Hey man....not to steal your post, but could you please expand on how you are hitting 24 + psi without MBC? The most I seem to be able to get is 22 psi with ECU / BCS and stock WG and BOV (my car is a IX MR). Thanks

I was up to almost 25 psi on a stock IX with just a flash (and BCS line mod), and the calculated load was reaching low 270s.

Im not hitting 24+ lbs yet. I have modified the stock system and have the head room to go that high.

If you need to get more boost out of it there are a couple things you can do. Change the restrictor pills in the line, get a better solenoid, or bleed pressure somehow. We have the TurboXS ABC that they offer with thier UTECs available for purchase that will make your stock BCS able to hit higher boost levels.

^ yeah but with the ABC you would still have get out and dial it in like a MBC for race boost.

Im makin it so you can run pump and race gas boost will just changing map using ECUFlash (and using correct restrictors, but you dont have to go under the hood and dial in like MBC or ABC).

Update on the stock boost solenoid boost control project.

I have tested about 4 different restrictors. I am trying to find the perfect balence between WG duty resolution and stability. I am going to get race gas right now and a new restrictor to modify and "hopefully" will have some solid results by the end of the weekend. Boost control with the stock boost solenoid (& modified restrictor) looks like it will work fine for most people, but some people may need more control. For them , I might start testing the EBCS from Perrin.

You should be able to open the ABC up enough that you can control the boost through a wide range. Unless you want to run wastegate spring pressure.

You would have one map with really low numbers in the map and the other map with high numbers. All that would be controlled in the flash so no need for different restrictors.
