tephra recommends you adjust the 2byte to 1byte load factor to suite your max load number you see at peak tq. default its set to 1.2 which is 306 load. 1.3 load is about 330, and so on.

after you determine which number is best for you, adjust the 1.2 in evoscan calculations to the number set in your rom.

As for the MUT table to log on v7 to get the 2byte load unfortunately i cant help with that.

EDIT:

Preconfigured MUT Requests
MUT00+MUT01 = 2byte airflow (ie MrFreds mod in g/s or lb/min)
MUT02+MUT03 = 2byte airflow (ie MAFHz)
MUT40 = 1byte gear
MUT41 = 1byte load
MUT42+MUT43 = 2byte SPEED/RPM ratio (to get your gear ratios correct - if you need to)

it looks to me you'll need to patch the xml with a 2byte load configuration to read the 2byte load, as tephra
didnt add it to the rom.

Would this be done to achieve 2 byte load? I was told I no longer wanted to use 2 byte load with V7. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this topic, I'm still new to this stuff, strugging a bit too.

Just use the 2byte to 1byte load factor in your rom. default its set to 1.2 which is a max of 306 LOAD that the ecu can log. If you're making more than 306 load than you want to up this value to match whatever load your cars making. 1.3 = 330, etc.

whatever number you end up changing the 1.2 to you must change the value in evoscan. so if your value is 1.3 in the rom you change the value in evoscan to 1.3 in the calculation for the 1byte load in evoscan.

Just want to make sure I'm on the same page. I will still be using the feature named 2 byte load in evo scan, but will be rescaling it? Is that correct?

I see in Evo scan that 2 byte load is request 00, function is .312x*x So I assume I will need to change that value (312x*x)?

Lastly where is the value in ecu flash to edit?

My evo scan does not have the 1 byte load listed like that at all, goes from injector latency right to 2 byte load and so on. Can I add it?

V2.4 I've checked the list over 5 times, it's not there. I have "load calculated", ecu load, load 11bit4, load mut 2byte mod. No 1 byte load at all.

So I will "add new item" name it Load 1 byte, put the 1.6x in for the Eval?
As for the request id, any suggestions? As for the mut table will load be input as 2dafb?

if you're on stock turbo just keep it to 1.2. copy everything on the far right window i pasted and it will be added. you can name it whatever you want (display)

There is no MUT table for 2byte load in v7's anymore i don't think.

So with v7 there is no need to change the mut table for logging load? It already knows the proper request?

I'm going to go give this a shot. Seriously guy, thank you so much. I've been struggling trying to pick up pieces here and there. Way to much info to try and take in from scratch if you're just starting out like me with this stuff.

I've been putting questions in here and there on the V7 thread but no one ever answers them.
